Two retired high school teachers from Southern California move to a 100 acre ranch in rural Northern New Mexico. Why the name? This place nickels and dimes us to death, but we wouldn't have it any other way.

About Me

Bridget: Northern, New Mexico, United States; After 30 years of teaching, my husband and I moved from Southern California to a 100 acre ranch in Northern New Mexico. At the ranch we raise grass-fed and finished steers and grow veggies the steers eat when we are not looking. Our closest neighbors are yaks, and we've adjusted from a busy Southern California lifestyle to a mellow New Mexico culture. For fun, I make quilts and the hubby cuts wood.
